TOWN GARDEN

This garden was all about good design. Clean lines that create a number of different garden spaces within the overall garden. The large terraced seating area paved in Black Limestone is linked with a levelled area of garden lawn. This gives access to an evening secluded seating area circled with lovely drystone walls. The walls also form the two main planting areas and these emphasise nicely the different levels within the garden. We complimented the stone walling using Oak timbers to form a further retaining wall and access steps and this takes you up to a ‘working garden’ area. We paved this using re-claimed red brick laid in a Herringbone pattern for additional detail. The summerhouse adds additional interest and with a greenhouse and the planting to follow I think this garden achieves the brief very well.
